09/2009: the game idea

During the summer holidays I spent some time reading/browsing game books:
Especially the first book is really good for some inspirition. After reading it, I thought of 4 possible game concepts:
  1. "Stick to the beat" (music game)
  2. "Save the village" (adventure/platform game)
  3. "IT can be fixed" (puzzle game)
  4. "Build & Destroy" (tower defense game)
Finally, after presenting it to my mentors, we decided to go for the "Save the village" concept. The "Save the village" concept eventually resulted in the "Le Village Perdu" game idea, in which Simon - aged 11 - has to find out why the village of his grandmother seems to be possessed by a dark force. (The story is situated in 1946).
